The Committee gave consideration to a report which provided an update on the Housing Services activity within the Mid 51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp, Kintyre and the Islands area.

Discussion took place in respect of the importance of people seeking housing being accommodated within their desired areas where possible; the work of the Care and Repair service; work being carried out in Helensburgh to repatriate young adults with additional housing needs to the 51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp and Bute area; the factors used to determine rates of fuel poverty; and the potential housing demand generated by Health and Social Care Partnership job vacancies.Ìý
