Plans to link Dunoon and Hunters Quay with a new active travel route will make it easier and safer to walk, cycle and wheel for residents and visitors.
51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp and Bute Council has launched a public consultation on plans to create the route and is asking for the feedback on the proposals from the local community.

A public drop-in event will take place on 16 May 2023 at Queens Hall, from 3:30pm to 7:30pm. This is an opportunity to find out more about the proposals, share your views and speak to the team.
The new route will:
- Improve the walking, wheeling and cycling environment between Dunoon and Hunters Quay ferry terminals.
- Link key destinations along the route such as Kirn, Dunoon Town Centre or the Riverside Leisure Centre.
- Create safe and attractive connections to the route from the side streets, laying the basis for a future active travel network

Transport Scotland is funding the project, administered through Sustrans’ Places for Everyone.
