Nine community groups in 51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp and Bute will be able to create new facilities or improve open spaces in their local area following successful bids to the council for a share of the Vibrant and Living Spaces Grant.
Funding for the projects is through the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), with 51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp and Bute Council allocated £304,642 to manage the Vibrant and Living Spaces Grant.
The council carried out an open, competitive application process to identify potential recipients, followed by a robust assessment process in line with guidance issued to applicants and, at a meeting of the Full Council today (Thursday), councillors agreed to award the following projects:
