Any businesses with a commercial waste contract with the Council, should look out for new stickers, coming out in the post, that need to be attached to the front of grey general waste bins to ensure future uplifts.
The stickers will be enclosed with annual invoices and waste transfer notices which will be sent out to business customers shortly.
This will make the service more efficient, as it will confirm to council amenity teams that the bins belong to business customers and this will speed up the collection process.
Please be aware that from 1 May 2025 any grey bins presented for uplift that don’t have a sticker on them, will not be uplifted. Place the sticker on the front of your grey bin so it will be seen by the operatives and it won’t be damaged by the loading equipment.
If you are a customer, and you haven't received your sticker in the post by 22 April, please let us know by filling in our .
You don’t need a sticker for any of your other bins such as recycling, food or glass, only the grey general waste bin.
If you do get in touch, please be aware that the Council’s commercial waste admin team is a small, busy team and will get back to you as soon as possible.
So, commercial customers, please remember to put your sticker on your bin as soon as you receive it in the post. If you don’t receive a sticker, please .
