Please use your green bin for your general rubbish that we can't recycle.
Please include:
- nappies
- cling film
- bubble wrap
- food contaminated plastic and card packaging
- non-recyclable plastics
- polystyrene packaging
- items that can't be recycled

Please don't include:
- items that can be recycled
- batteries and electrical equipment (take to recycling centre)
- rubble, soil, stone or bricks (take to recycling centre)
- glass bottles or jars (please recycle these at local recycling points or recycling centres, or in your household glass collection if you live in Helensburgh and Lomond, Mull, Iona or Tiree)
Only 1 green bin per household will be emptied (apart from some exceptions - find out more in our FAQs)
Please ensure your bin is clearly labelled with your house name or number.
Please don't under any circumstances put potentially flammable items such as batteries or marine flares in your household wheelie bins.
