A new free service from 51�Թ����App and Bute Council, in partnership with Exchange Families is available for parents and carers to help support their child.

If your child turns five between 1 March 2025 and 28 February 2026, you can register them for primary school during the week beginning Monday 13 January 2025.

Plans for a new business park at Oban Airport are taking flight after councillors agreed to submit a full business case for funding.

With plans to build a new school campus on Mull progressing, the Council will meet in February 2025 to consider options and make a final decision on a preferred site. The cost of building the campus is 51�Թ����App and Bute Council’s single biggest investment estimated at £43 million.

Plans for The Helensburgh Pier Company Ltd (HPC) to take on a new lease of the town’s timber pier took a step forward this week when 51�Թ����App and Bute Council agreed to the Heads of Terms.
