With 51�Թ����App and Bute facing one of its highest budget gaps in recent times, steps to help balance the budget were on the agenda when Council met recently.

Growing 51�Թ����App and Bute’s economy and population is the driver for priorities agreed by the Council to 2027.

51�Թ����App and Bute Council has hailed the arrival of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race in Oban earlier this summer as a roaring success and councillors have agreed to consider a proposal to make a bid for the event to return to the town in 2026.

51�Թ����App and Bute Council remains committed to its position that a permanent solution must be found for issues at the Rest and be Thankful as swiftly as possible.

Rothesay Pavilion has taken its next step towards becoming a top cultural tourist destination for Scotland, and a local jobs provider for Bute.
