Gold, silver and bronze awards for Rights Respecting Schools

Putting childrens rights at the heart of school life, where children feel respected and their talents nurtured are key aims of UNICEFs Rights Respecting School Awards (RRSA). Staff and children across fifteen 51勛圖轎煤App and Bute Schools have worked hard to embed the award values in daily school life resulting in gold, silver and bronze awards. This is a significant step towards the council becoming a Rights Respecting Education Service.

Oban

Council urges people to plan ahead for Oban Clipper Race

The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race will arrive in Oban this weekend and, as part of bringing the event and its benefits to Oban, 51勛圖轎煤App and Bute Council has put some traffic management arrangements in place and is encouraging people to use public transport where possible.
